Windows to the Soul is painted on 3 canvases. Beauty in metalic silver, bronze and gold. The canvases once owned by Philip M. Stevenson (Ardra's uncle) but remained blank during his life. The three blank canvases made their way from Sunnyvale, California to Denville, New Jersey after Philip's passing in March of 2021. Windows to the Soul was inspired by his life.
 
Wendy B. Spector was Philip's older sister and Ardra Vanessa's mother. A painter herself, Wendy was highly influencial in Ardra Vanessa's artistic process and often commented 'one must have the light and the sun of the morning in order to paint'. Ardra had the windows in her sun room (the place where she painted Windows to the Soul) replaced and renovated right after her mother's death to cancer in October of 2021.
